Riyasat, located in the opulent St.Regis Doha, offers guests a new definition for Friday brunch, where the majestic Indian restaurant launches brunch like never before, with a selection of dishes that draw on royalty-inspired and authentic Indian cuisine heritage. Riyasat Doha welcomes families, friends, and brunch lovers every Friday starting 12pm until 4pm, to indulge in the most unique majestic brunch experience yet, with an extensive menu of many Indian favourites from acclaimed India’s Master Chef, Chef Jolly.
There’s so much food to try, make sure you come hungry! Let us take a deeper look into what Riyasat has to offer its guests. The brunch features a variety of delicious Naashta, a selection of famously chaats, salad and sharing nibbles. The Kale Chips Papdi Chaat, made of roasted sweet potato, peanuts, gram-flour hay, and minted-tamarind dip, alongside the Quinoa Peaches Salad, which includes Leafy greens, toasted pumpkin seeds, walnuts- pomelo dressing make the perfect choice for starters. They are refreshing as they may sound and suitable for vegetarians. The curried crab, the slow roasted pulled duck leg and the robust spiced minced lamb egg stuffed are also dishes that are served all at once in the Naashta section.
Next is the Robata and Tandoor, which is a famous method of cooking in India and in many other parts of the world. Robata refers to cooking over hot charcoal on a wide and flat open fireplace, like barbecuing, and Tandoor is predominantly a bee-hive clay oven. The Tandoor lamb seekh come as generous minced lamb skewers, perfectly charred, served alongside some of Riyasat’s most celebrated dishes, such as the Tandoor roasted chicken (Makhan Chooza Roast, Amritsari), the Jeenga Balai, which is prawns cooking and dipped in roasted garlic, Kashmiri chilies and cream cheese. Finally, the most eminent creation, the Riyasati Tandoori Lobster, a 600-to-800-gram Indian ocean sand lobster, is served to absolute perfection and cannot be missed.
More dishes that are served during brunch are the Khaas and Biryanis, everyone’s all-time favourites. The signature Mardana Murgh is served in the Khaas section, the sauce in this dish is magical and tasty! So is the Shabdegh Dal Riyasat, which is simmered lentils, and is recommended for all vegetarians. In the Biryani section, guests will have the choice to select either the lamb, chicken or even prawns. Some interesting sides accompany all dishes, and they include the naan, the layered wholewheat butter and the baby spinach with baked buffalo cheese. Keep room for Riyasat’s Signature Dessert Selection and an exciting traditional royal ending beverage, the Riyasati “Maharaja” masala chai, a mixture of Royal tea, cardamon, dried rose, and saffron.
Guests can opt for vegetarian options upon request. Make sure to ask the waiter for any specials. Every dish taste fantastic, the different aromas fill up the entire restaurant. From the moment guests walk in they will feel as if they are in a festival of flavours and aromas.
Brunch is served for QAR 255 per person including soft drinks and beverages and QAR 395 including, fruity, sweet, and spiced mocktails can be added in addition to famous cocktails and spirits as well as the finest bottle of bubbles. Friday at Riyasat, is a day to make memories with the family and enjoy a heart-warming cosy atmosphere. Kids below 6 can eat for free, kids between 6 and 12 can enjoy brunch for the cost of QAR105 only and kids above the age of 12 will be charged the regular brunch price which is QAR 255.
